Modern Showrooms of C-Mart to be opened in the cities for marketing of the produces manufactured in the villages of the state

Products made by self-help groups, weavers, artisans and cottage industries to be sold in these showrooms of C-Mart

       For the rapid development of rural economy, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has taken the initiative to place the products from villages in the city markets. For this, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has directed the officials concerned to establish modern showrooms of C-Mart in the cities to ensure proper commercial marketing of the products made by women self-help groups, craftsmen, weavers, artisans and cottage industries under various schemes of state government. Officials concerned have been directed to set up C-Mart like a modern showroom equipped with all the amenities for proper showcasing of the products to attract customers. Mr. Baghel has directed Industries Department to issue guidelines in the context immediately.

      Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached Sukma on 18/05/2022 ( Wednesday)  in the second phase of his state-wide meeting. Where he inaugurated the C-Mart (Chhattisgarh Mart) built at a cost of 58 lakhs in the district headquarters and also became the first customer. CM bought Kodo, Kutki, Ragi, Fragrant Rice, Tikhur, Spices from the Mart and got the Mart sowed. During this he bought goods worth Rs 1348. He also obtained the purchase receipt from C-Mart. A shop will now operate near the bus stand in the district headquarters, where the people of Sukma will get a lot of locally made products under one roof. The Chief Minister inspected all the products of the newly created C-Mart and inquired about the products from the operators.
